I also like collecting quotes. Now I found a good place where to keep them – my blog.

I didn’t understand what she meant, but I like the “Add more lipstick” part. I’ve used lipstick all my adult life, and I liked it. I have no idea who Denise B is, I recently found this quote. I have never had vodka with lemon, I prefer it with black pepper! LOL. This is a Russian home remedy.
Here is the classic Perestroika movie “Interdevochka”. The main character married a German man. Once during a party, she got drunk. German husband was angry with her, he said: we (Germans) only pretend that we drink. She replied: we (Russians) pretend that we don’t drink.

Have you ever read Remarque? I have. The only thing I remember from his novels is Calvados. Everyone was drinking Calvados. He described it so vividly that I immediately wanted to try this drink (calvados). I tried it here, in the US. The bottle is still almost full, LOL. I need to meet someone who loves Remarque’s novels the same way as I do.
