Moisturizing is an important procedure in General skin care. From lack of moisture the skin becomes flabby, loses its elasticity, wrinkles appear. Moisturizing face masks play an important role in the process of moisturizing the skin. With age, moisturizing facial masks become more relevant.
If you think that the skin looks flabby, there is a feeling of tightness, you can try to make a moisturizing facial mask.
You should remember that you apply the mask to cleansed skin, usually hold for 15-20 minutes. After removing the mask, it is necessary to apply a moisturizing or nourishing cream. Moisturizing masks are prepared immediately before use and are not stored.
Moisturizing banana face mask
Banana is famous for its moisturizing properties, so it is often a part of home moisturizing face masks. To prepare it, mash half a banana with a fork, add 1 tablespoon of natural yogurt or sour cream, mix and apply to the face for about 15-20 minutes. This moisturizing mask recipe is suitable for dry and flaky skin.
Moisturizing sour cream face mask
Dairy products are good moisturizers. To prepare a homemade moisturizing mask, mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream (for oily skin – take sour cream with a low fat content, and for dry skin, on the contrary, fat), 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh carrots. mix it very well and put on face for 20 min. You will get the moisturizing effect.
Moisturizing and nourishing face mask with honey
Honey is a natural component that will help to moisturize the skin. Moisturizing face mask with honey is suitable for all skin types. So, melt 2 tablespoons of honey in a water bath, cool slightly to a comfortable temperature for the skin. Then add the yolk of one egg and 1 tsp vegetable oil (olive, almond, jojoba or peach) to the honey. Mix well the ingredients of the mask until smooth, then put on the skin, and after 20 minutes, remove. This mask has a benefit. After you apply the mask on your face you can just add a teaspoon of vodka (cognac, brandy) to leftovers and your hair mask is ready.
My thoughts:
- I would recommend to do a moisturizing mask before go to bed rather then go out, especially in winter.
- Before go outside apply nourishing or day cream to protect your skin against cold and wind.
- Don’t forget to drink enough water.
