Filming in New Bedford

On Wednesday, November 2, my street was blocked. 

I was driving to work at 8:30 in the morning, not thrilled with the detour but thinking it’s ok. Things happen. Most likely, the street will be open on my way home. 

I was wrong.

My street was blocked off again. All the streets around were either blocked or crowded with parked cars.

I finally got home, but I wasn’t happy.

Sad thoughts about Texas

My Thursday morning started with an emotional speech by a basketball coach on TV. The head coach of the Golden State Warriors, Steve Kerr, said: enough is enough, he was tired of starting games with a minute of silence. Kerr was referring to the shooting at a Texas school in Uvalde. Where 19 children (8-10 years old) and two adults were killed.

“There’s 50 senators who refuse to vote right now on H.R. 8, which is a background check rule that the House passed a couple years ago. It’s been sitting there for two years. And there’s a reason they won’t vote on it: to hold on to power,” Kerr said.
